SETTING RESEARCH
We decided to set the opening of our movie at at pond near bramley way in Ashtead. we thought this would be the best place as it is quite quiet and is ideal for a horror. Also it is useful to create tension and suspense. The setting conforms to the codes and conventions of horror film. The teenagers are vulnerable to attack in the middle of nowhere. Also the trees obscure the audience's vision and imagination is very powerful.
